Traders Launch permits scalping trades held for 5–30 seconds in its published Futures rules, but that is not permission for high-frequency-style trading. Accounts may be paused for review when more than 10% of trades are opened and fully closed within two seconds. The current FAQ also lists $0.50 commission per side per contract, equivalent to $1 for a complete round trip.
COMPARE is the site's 30% purchase offer for established Standard Futures and Legacy NYC evaluations. This guide uses the Standard 100K 80%-split configuration: its $159 fee calculates to $111.30. It explains why a cheaper evaluation does not make frequent trading cost-free. Official information checked on 5 October 2026.

The official pricing selector supplies these configuration-specific fees. USD calculations multiply each base fee by 0.70 and exclude taxes or separately billed options. No checkout test is claimed. The offer is not extended here to TL Early Access, crypto or resets.
For the separate choice between 60% and 80%, read the profit-split comparison. That purchase decision is different from how many contracts you trade after entering the program.
Scalping permission has a boundary
The official evaluation rules distinguish permitted 5–30 second scalps from prohibited HFT-style activity. The more-than 10% test for trades completed within two seconds is a review trigger, not a safe allowance to target.
Do not interpret a trade lasting three or four seconds as automatically approved just because it exceeds two seconds. The published permission and the review threshold are different statements, and the broader trading restrictions still apply.
For an arithmetic illustration,12 out of 100 trades completed within two seconds is 12%, above the stated 10% threshold. That does not mean 10 out of 100 creates guaranteed immunity from review. Classification and compliance remain with the firm.
Count contract round trips rather than clicking sessions
At $0.50 for entry and $0.50 for exit, one fully completed one-contract trade has $1 of stated commission. If an order contains three contracts, the commission basis is three contracts, not one mouse click.
| Completed activity | Contract round trips | Stated commission calculation |
|---|---|---|
| 10 trades of 1 contract each | 10 | $10.00 |
| 20 trades of 1 contract each | 20 | $20.00 |
| 10 trades of 3 contracts each | 30 | $30.00 |
| 25 trades of 2 contracts each | 50 | $50.00 |
These are illustrations using the current official FAQ, not a recommended trading frequency. They exclude slippage and any other applicable execution cost. Partial entries and exits should be reconciled using the actual filled contract quantities.
Gross gains and net results are different
Imagine a hypothetical session with $120 in price-movement gains before commissions and 20 completed one-contract round trips. The stated commission calculation is $20, leaving $100 before other costs. The purpose of this example is accounting; it is not an expected daily result.
If the same gross $120 required 50 contract round trips, the corresponding commission would be $50 and the remainder $70. More activity can therefore change net results even when the gross price outcome is identical.
Keep evaluation purchase cost in a separate column from trading costs. The $47.70 coupon saving occurs at entry under the stated offer. It does not replenish the account's loss allowance, cancel later commissions or make an otherwise unsuitable strategy compliant.
Match the platform and enabled instrument
The current FAQ lists TradingView, Volumetrica and Quantower for evaluation and Simfunded accounts. MES and MNQ are pre-loaded, while MGC, MCL, SIL and MYM require a request. A symbol's availability on a charting platform does not prove that it is enabled on the selected program account.
Before the first session, check the account, symbol, contract quantity and order settings. A prepared workspace should make those items visible. If an instrument is unavailable, seek the firm's instructions rather than treating a different symbol or account as an equivalent substitute.
Position capacity does not replace risk planning
The 100 KStandard card publishes a $2,000 evaluation target,$1,000 EOD maximum loss and a starting ceiling of 2 minis or 20 micros. Larger position permission does not mean that using the maximum is necessary or appropriate.
The evaluation also retains its 40% best-day condition and minimum three trading days. A sequence of permitted scalps can still create a concentrated profit day or excessive loss. Separate compliance questions must all be satisfied; meeting a holding-time description does not answer them.
The firm prohibits hedging, including correlated or coordinated hedging, and restricts excessive martingale behavior. These are relevant to methods that alternate quick entries or add size after losses. Review the actual strategy against the rules before buying an evaluation.
A useful session review
- Record the number of completed contract round trips.
- Reconcile commissions with actual fills rather than an assumed order count.
- Separate gross price results from costs.
- Review holding times for unusually fast completed trades.
- Check profit concentration and remaining risk room independently.
- Investigate any rule warning before continuing.
This checklist is an organizational aid. It does not certify a strategy or replace the account agreement. The program uses simulated accounts, and purchasing, passing or choosing a particular trading style does not guarantee a payout.
How to apply COMPARE
- Choose the established Standard Futures account and its funded split.
- Read the complete rules for that configuration.
- Enter COMPARE in the purchase coupon field.
- Confirm the accepted reduction and total before payment.
- Save the selected configuration and receipt.
Do not stack the recorded 30% calculation with the site's separate public promotion.
FAQ
Are all short-duration trades permitted?
No. The rules describe 5–30 second scalps as allowed but prohibit HFT-style activity and identify a separate review trigger for very fast trades.
Is the commission $0.50 round trip?
No. The FAQ states $0.50 per side. Entry plus exit totals $1 per contract.
Does COMPARE reduce commissions?
This site's offer concerns the evaluation purchase fee. No commission discount is established here.
What is the 100K 80%-split purchase calculation?
$159 less 30% saves $47.70, giving $111.30 before separately billed costs.
Can I use every symbol immediately?
The FAQ distinguishes pre-loaded MES/MNQ from other listed micro contracts available by request. Confirm the selected account's enabled instruments.
Does staying below the two-second threshold guarantee compliance?
No. The review trigger is not the entire rulebook. Broader restrictions, account conditions and the firm's review still apply.
