The official windows use Eastern Time
The current trading-hours FAQ states:
| Program | Published trading window |
|---|---|
| Standard, 60% or 80% funded share | 6:00 PM to 4:00 PM ET the following day |
| Legacy NYC | 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM ET |
The same FAQ says the session cannot change during an evaluation. A platform showing a quote outside the selected window is not sufficient evidence that the account permits trading then.
Standard's published interval spans midnight. It does not describe continuous 24-hour access. Both configurations have a 4:00 PM ET endpoint; the published Standard opening is two hours later. Check special closures and the purchased account's execution instructions rather than assuming every calendar date follows an ordinary session.
Convert the actual date, including daylight saving
On 9 October 2026, New York uses EDT, four hours behind UTC. The Standard interval ending that Friday converts from 22:00 UTC on Thursday 8 October to 20:00 UTC on Friday 9 October. Legacy NYC's Friday window converts to 13:30–20:00 UTC.
NIST's daylight-saving calendar places the 2026 US clock change on 1 November. Under the published hours, the next ordinary Monday's Standard interval converts from 23:00 UTC on Sunday 1 November to 21:00 UTC on Monday 2 November. Legacy's Monday window becomes 14:30–21:00 UTC.
These are timezone calculations, not confirmation of a special holiday or exchange schedule. Using a location-based New York timezone in a calendar is safer than keeping a permanent “ET equals UTC minus four” note. When another country changes clocks on a different date, its local difference from New York can change temporarily too.
Check whether the session fits your available time
Imagine a trader who can only be at the screen from 7:00 to 9:00 AM ET. That period falls inside the published Standard window and before Legacy NYC opens. A lower Legacy entry price would not solve that schedule mismatch.
Conversely, a trader available only during the New York daytime session can compare both configurations, but must still compare their targets, starting size and drawdown. Session fit answers one purchasing question. It does not establish that the remaining conditions suit the intended trading method.
Write the intended trading period next to the selected program before checkout. Include the timezone and relevant date. “Morning” is ambiguous when an account uses Eastern Time and the trader lives elsewhere.

Standard Futures: 80% funded share
| Account size | Account type | Regular price | Code | Offer rate | Savings | Discounted price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $100K | Standard Futures: 80% funded share | $159.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $47.70 | $111.30 |
| $200K | Standard Futures: 80% funded share | $299.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $89.70 | $209.30 |
| $300K | Standard Futures: 80% funded share | $599.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $179.70 | $419.30 |
Legacy NYC: 80% funded share
| Account size | Account type | Regular price | Code | Offer rate | Savings | Discounted price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $100K | Legacy NYC: 80% funded share | $99.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $29.70 | $69.30 |
| $200K | Legacy NYC: 80% funded share | $149.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $44.70 | $104.30 |
| $300K | Legacy NYC: 80% funded share | $279.00 | COMPARE | 30% | $83.70 | $195.30 |
At $100K, the calculated difference is $42. That comparison holds the funded share at 80%, but the accounts still have different starting contract limits. Standard's lower-priced 60% share is a separate selection, covered in the profit-split comparison.
A session boundary is separate from evaluation progress
The futures rules require three trading days, weekly activity and a best day no greater than 40% of total evaluation profit. Trading across midnight on a local clock should not automatically be counted as two qualifying trading days. Use the firm's account record for day credit.
A practical session record contains the account ID, program, permitted opening, permitted endpoint, current platform timezone and any special notice. Review positions and pending orders ahead of the boundary so there is time to resolve an unexpected state. This is a suggested administrative check, not a claim about an automatic liquidation mechanism.
The terms generally exclude refunds except for their stated fraud exception. Resolve a session-selection mistake before paying rather than assuming it can be corrected free of charge afterward.

FAQ
Can I change from Legacy NYC to Standard during evaluation?
The official FAQ says sessions cannot be switched mid-evaluation.
Is Standard open for a continuous 24 hours?
The published window is 6:00 PM–4:00 PM ET the following day.
Does a 60% Standard share have shorter hours than 80%?
The current FAQ assigns both Standard choices the same session.
Is the UTC conversion the same all year?
No. New York's daylight-saving change alters the UTC equivalent.
Does this extend COMPARE to Early Access or crypto?
No. The retained scope here is the existing Standard and Legacy NYC futures evaluations. Affiliate referrals may compensate this site. Evaluation and funded trading are simulated; passing and payouts remain conditional. No expiry date has been inferred for COMPARE.
